The City owns two cemeteries within City limits: West End Memorial
Cemetery and East End Memorial Cemetery. City staff is responsible for the
upkeep and maintenance of grounds and selling of plots. The City has
designated an area as an Urn Garden located at the West End Cemetery. For
inquiries or purchasing information please contact the Cemetery
Superintendent at 254-977-3138.

West End Memorial Cemetery is located at
the intersection of Washington Street and Lillian Street across from
Tarleton State University.
East End Memorial Cemetery is located on
Highway 281 approximately one mile north of Washington Street near Tejas
Golf Course.
Fees: $425.00 per plot (City
resident)
$500.00 per plot
(Non-City resident)
Urn Garden Fees: $175.00 per plot
(City resident)
$200.00 per plot (Non-City resident)
*Additional filing fees will be applied at time of
purchase.
